Hurricane Statistics
Design a Windows Application and write the code that will execute according to the program requirements, and Use Case Definition (see below). Before writing the code, create an event planning document for each event in the program. The completed Windows application and other object in the user interface are shown in the picture (attached separately). The file named hurricanes.txt (attached separately) is needed for this application.


REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT
Application Title: Hurricane Season Statistics by Year Windows Application


Purpose:
This application uses a text file that contains the 1990-2010 hurricane season statistics of names storms to find the average number of storms during the time period and to find the most active year from the range and the application will display the number of named storms for the year.


Program Procedure:
In a window application the hurricane statistics from the years 1990-2010 are analyzed. The user can select a year from the range and view the number of named storms. The average and the active year are displayed.


Algorithm, Processing and Condition:
1. The application first opens the information from the National Weather Service saved in a text file named hurricane.txt representing the number of named storms during the year 1990-2010.
2. The user can select the year in the range of data to view the number of named storms for the year.
3 The average of storms within the range and the year and number of the most active storm season are displayed when the appropriate button is pressed.


Note:
Two Sub methods are used to compute the average and the most active year


USED CASE DEFINITION
1. The user selects a year from the range 1990-2010 from a list box.
2. The program displays the number of named stormed for that year.
3. The user clicks the Display Statistics button to view the average number of storms between the year 1990-2010 and the year with the most active storm season is displayed from the text file.
